We neglect fairly how long we have been ready for official information from the next entry in Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls sequence, and now the studio has finally, finally lifted the lid on its title.
As revealed by Todd Howard himself in a new studio fortieth anniversary video, the next sport in the sequence is titled The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel (yep, the very same identify that was reported last week).
The reveal does not come with much more data than that. There’s a temporary glimpse of a metallic scroll being unearthed from some sand, the title brand, and the following quote from ‘Yazar, Moth Priest of High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell’, but that’s it:
The scroll supplied only a shimmer, a veil thinly lifted to my eyes. A future lost. A victory undone. Sands of time scattered by destiny.
That’s all we have proper now. Still no release date, still no confirmed platforms, still no gameplay. But hey, a identify is a good begin!
Given Bethesda’s support for Switch 2 so far, our fingers are crossed that we’ll see the next sequence entry come our approach at some level (whenever that may be), but there’s no official phrase on that entrance for the second, sadly.
