After delays and an extremely long wait, it seems Retro Studios’ anticipated release Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has finally been rated by the ESRB.
As highlighted on the official Nintendo web site in the US, it seems the sport will be ‘T’ for “Teen”. According to the description, it incorporates animated blood, violence, and in-game purchases.
“Teen – content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language.”
As highlighted by Metroid fan web site Shinesparkers, this ranking is constant with the principal Metroid Prime video games before the fourth entry. This ranking has not gone dwell on ESRB’s official web site yet, so if we hear any adjustments or updates to this classification, we’ll let you know.
This follows the sport being rated in South Korea by the Game Rating and Administration Committee in July.
There’s no precise release date for this Switch and Switch 2 title yet, but it’s at present concentrating on a 2025 release. The Switch 2 model will also embrace enhanced decision and body fee, as properly as Joy-Con 2 mouse support.
