Give your old 4K TV to Samsung and you’ll get something way better for less

It’s been a very long time coming but Samsung has finally confirmed the release of its latest and greatest televisions. These upgraded screens were first shown off all the way back in January at the CES technology show in Las Vegas. Now, after months and months of waiting, telly addicts can pre-order these blockbuster upgrades and there’s some big incentives to make things sound more enticing.

Samsung has confirmed that those switching to one of its latest goggleboxes will get up to £1000 cashback and that’s not all.

Anyone happy to hand over their ageing screen will also get even more money off with up to £500 back via Samsung’s trade-in plan.

If any of that sounds enticing, see some of the new deals below.

These latest TVs all feature upgrades such as faster Gen3 processors, improved upscaling to help make content look better on the big screen.

Some models also feature anti-glare panels, richer sound and an almost frameless design for an immersive experience.

Solar powered remotes also cut down the need for batteries and they can now control your home thanks to SmartThings integration.

Other extras include dedicated gaming modes, colour-boosting technology and AI tech that recognises objects on the screen – such as footballs being kicked – and makes things looks smoother.

If you’re bored of seeing a big black screen sitting in the corner of your living room, AI can instantly create unique and bespoke wallpapers to help your TV blend into your surroundings. Just give a description of what you’d like shown on the screen, such as a sunset over a lake, and it will do the rest.

“Samsung sees TVs not as one-directional devices for passive consumption but as interactive, intelligent partners that adapt to your needs,” said SW Yong, President and Head of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “With Samsung Vision AI, we’re reimagining what screens can do, connecting entertainment, personalisation, and lifestyle solutions into one seamless experience to simplify your life.”
