If your Fire TV Stick feels like it’s starting to stutter then now is definitely a good time to look at investing in something new. Amazon will unleash two new streaming devices this week and one of them comes with a very unique and good-looking upgrade. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max now features something called the Ambient Experience which transforms your TV’s big blank screen into an ever-changing work of art.
There’s over 2,000 images to choose from and all are free to use. All you have to do is ask Alexa or hold down the “Home” or “Alexa” buttons on the remote when not streaming to replace blank TV screens with artwork.
You can even choose to add motion graphics, landscapes, always-evolving dynamic art and your personal photos.
And that’s not. This Fire TV Ambient Experience also lets you can also see glance-able information like your schedule with Calendars and Reminders, leave Sticky Notes for family members, control smart devices like cameras, lights, or a Ring doorbell, play audio from services like Amazon Music, and Spotify.

If that sounds too pricey then there is a second new device launching on Amazon’s website. The 2023 Fire TV Stick 4K now gets an improved chip under its eco-friendly design that makes it faster than before.
There’s also Wi-Fi 6 and Dolby Vision compatibility for improved streaming and a higher-quality image. As the name suggests it’s also the best option if you want 4K streaming.
It also goes on sale tomorrow, October 18, and costs £59.99.
